JUST ONE Tree Day
Last week we celebrated JUST ONE Tree Day to help raise awareness of the amazing work
JUST ONE Tree, a non-profit initiative, is doing to help remove CO2 from the atmosphere and reversing biodiversity loss through global reforestation.
As part of this fun awareness initiative, school children and businesses, across the UK, were invited to dress up as trees and donate to the cause, to enable even more trees to be planted. As part of this year’s event we pledged to grow Rainbow’s forest even further, with a donation of £1,000. As a company we have now planted a total of 2,250 trees, and also managed to create quite a forest of our own online!
Alys Dawson, Director of Product Development and Creative Services, also heads up our Rainbow Cares programme, and is very proud of what the team has achieved this year, “Rainbow Cares is a holistic approach that envelopes Product, Planet and People.
